PVAMU Bound?

So I'm currently on hold with the PVAMU call center trying to transfer.I completed my first semester at UHD [University of Houston-Downtown] Which is a prety good school but very inconvenient considering the fact i live on the other side of town it takes about 30min to get there and with the cost of gas these days its not cheap. I was going to go ahead and try to transfer to UH main but my mother who has been trying to get me to go to PVAMU for the longest finally convinced me to go. Urgh.. Still on hold these people need to hurry i got to pick up my niece in 10 min. sorry bout the side bar. but hopefully this decision is a good one.

Got Goals, Got Dreams..

Im infatuated with nice things.
Ok so my dad always tells me to write my goals down which is good advise because writing down your Dreams and Goals is an important first step towards achieving them. First, because by writing them down it forces you to visualize your Goals. And second, because the act of writing them down creates a commitment on your part.

So I've realized blogging isn't really something I'm persistent with i guess i just have a life unlike you other blogest.
nah I'm just lazy.

but lets reflect on this past week.
so i was suppose to go to the H again with dria and check out the colleges and shit but ended up helping with "Miss pretty kitty" that shit was hilarious its where the boys dress like girls in a pageant.It was pretty cool even though the boy i was working with didn't win..weak.

Last night was a hot ghetto Texas mess. chilled with the homies tried to hit up a party but you know how that goes when there nigras. so we basically just drove all around the whole east side bangin that good ol' Dallas music while the people was "swangin" and "bangin" ha!

Today. i called up all the places i had applied didn't get nothing but bull shit answers. oh call back next week or some shit. oh well.

Tomorrow another Monday, the worst day of the week. urgh i cant wait till Friday. school is sooo draining. i swear I'm so over it.

And it all comes crashing down.slowly

So i didn't post anything yesterday. highly upset. i went to get my transcript and was shocked to see that my GPA did not change wtf! I've been waiting for the first semester to end so i can improve my GPA trying extra hard and nothing to show for it what the hell! oh well im over it. some good words from the wise padre helped me get through my delema.

Then school was hella long i swear i feel like I'm too old for high school. completely over all of it. little ignorant children and there unnecessary drama and fights come on now really.

4months & some weeks left!

my nigga dria finally got a cellular device nigga coming up while I'm still feeling like a flea on a peasant no phone no job no car my life = shit but its ok the come up is on its way? right?

Dont limit yourself.

So today i was doing my daily blog check up checking out all the blogs and came across an entry on bossip.com where they interviewed a couple of African American celebrities asking them what "change" they want to see this year. i had to dwell on this because lately I've noticed that black teenagers these days are limiting themselves as though they have no future.graduation is coming up and some don't even plan on going to college. they set themselves up for failier. And feed off of what they see in the media and hear in rap songs. Its sounds stupid but is so true. I know one change i would like to see in the black community is to stop living up to the stereotype && a change in the statistics that "blacks" have the lowest education and lowest paying jobs. come on now the president is black we need to live up to the dream MLK had dreamed for us as African Americans. i swear i can go on && on about this subject but check out what the celebs had to say.
